Cancellation of the rental
In order to be able to provide the most fair user experience possible for both car owners and renters we have set cancellation policies and fees for all bookings. If the cancellation is made within the timeframe that obliges a fee, the fee will get refunded to the other party. The amount of the fee varies depending on when the cancellation was made
If the renter cancels the booking
As a car renter you can always cancel your rental request and get your money back as long as you do so no later than 48 hours before the start of the rental period. If you decide to cancel your booking less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, you will have to pay a cancellation fee to the car owner who has reserved the car for you.
If the car owner cancels the booking
When you accept a booking at GoMore as the owner of the car, you are expected to rent the car to the renter who made the booking for the specified time period. If you decide to cancel the booking later, for example because the car is no longer available or you want to use the car yourself, you have to pay the renter a cancellation fee as compensation. In addition to a refund, the renter also receives GoMore Points that can be used to book a new car. The cancellation fee is deducted from your GoMore earnings.
Please note that the above rules only apply to confirmed bookings. Unconfirmed rental requests can always be canceled/denied at no cost.
