Rental car requirements (for owners)

In order for a car to be declared for rent on the GoMore platform under our group insurance offered by Omocom, the car must meet the following requirements:

  • The car must be registered for private use in Finland, for traffic use and must have legal compulsory Motor Insurance.
  • The car must not be used for commercial purposes, such as transporting cargo or people in the form of a business.
  • It must be possible to drive the car with a standard B driving license (maximum vehicle weight 3500kg)
  • The fair market value of the car may not exceed EUR 100,000.
  • The car must not be more than 15 years old (from the first day of registration) and the car must not have been driven more than 300,000 km.
  • Part 2 (notification part) of the car registration certificate may not be kept in the car during rentals
  • Cars leased as part of a private leasing service provided by GoMore and this leasing partner are automatically insured for the duration of the leases.
  • If the fair market value of the car is more than 80,000 Euros and the car is less than 5 years old, the car must have a location system activated during all rentals.

When a car meets the above conditions, it is always automatically insured through us.

For company cars or cars mainly used for commercial rental:

Companies or private traders (trade names) can also rent their cars to our members through GoMore. In these cases, however, GoMore's group insurance is not valid and the company must take out comprehensive insurance for its car for the rental business. As a result, we only charge a 15% service fee to business car owners (25% to private car owners). In other respects, the above requirements for cars apply. More detailed rental terms can be found here.
