If an accident happens during a rental

If the car is unable to continue the journey, the customer can call RedGo to arrange road service or towing at +358 34 39 98 47. If you are renting out a commercial owned car, please contact the car owner for instructions on which road assistance to call. If you are renting a Keyless car, please call our customer support first. You will find our number from the app by clicking on "Contact support". Road service is included in every rental without excess. The car is always towed to the nearest repair shop that can repair the car. Alternatively, the car can also be repaired by the road service on the spot, if this is possible and cheaper. Examples of on-site roadside assistance or repair are:

- Car starting aid due to battery (12V) running out

- Tire change

- Opening the doors when the keys have been left inside the locked car.

Here you can read more about how to act if you have an accident during the rental.

We also recommend reviewing our full insurance conditions here.

Stone chip marks

If a stone or stud chip occurs during the rental, the renter must document the new damage in the rental contranct, inform the car owner and GoMore about this, and deliver the car to the nearest windshield repair shop as quickly as possible for evaluation. Stone chips are covered by Omocom´s insurance without excess liability for either party, if the damage can be repaired locally at a local repair shop.

If the glass does not need to be replaced, the renter can pay for the repair on the spot and send the payment receipt to our insurance company Omocom. Omocom will refund the payment to the renter afterwards.

If the damage cannot be repaired locally and the windshield needs to be completely replaced, Renter must immediately contact the car owner and GoMore, who will refer the case to Omocom to process the cost estimate given by the repair shop. In this case, the windshield repair is handled by the car owner after the rental period has ended. The replacement of broken glass is included in Omocom's glass safety insurance, and the renter is responsible for the deductible according to the insurance conditions.

Damages to metal and plastic parts

Small damages, such as scratches and dents in metal and plastic parts, which do not affect the usability or driving safety of the car, must be reported by the renter at the latest when returning the car. In Keyless rentals, the renter must add information about the new damage to the rental contract, and in basic rentals, the new damage must be reported to the car owner so that it can be added to the rental contract.

Serious damages and crashes

In the case of a serious damage that affects the car's usability or driving safety, or may worsen or cause additional damage while driving, driving should be stopped and Road Service should be called for assistance. If you have to call the SOS Road Service, you must also immediately contact the car owner and GoMore so that we can provide both parties with instructions. Road service is included in the price of all our rentals. In the event of an accident, always take care of personal injuries first by calling 112, so that the police can also be called to the scene if necessary. Examples of serious damage: crashes, brake failure, car transmission failure, etc.

If new damages occur during the rental, the owner must be notified of this when returning the car, or in the return contract for Keyless rentals. We always recommend taking pictures of the damage through the application to be uploaded directly to the rental contract, as well as to be saved in your phone's memory so the processing of the damage report can be made as smooth as possible. Cars rented through GoMore are automatically insured with the GoMore group insurance offered by Omocom.

When new damage is reported to GoMore, we will contact both parties and instruct them on the next steps and review the damage in accordance with our rental and insurance conditions. After this, if possible, we will transfer the damage to the insurance company Omocom for further review. Omocom makes the final decision on damage´s compensation.

Traffic accident involving a third party

If a traffic accident occurs during the rental period, call the police if needed.

The GoMore renter must always record the license plate number of the third party's car and request the contact information and insurance details of the third party (i.e., the person involved in the traffic accident). In addition to this, the renter must take photographs of the traffic accident and the scene. The GoMore renter must immediately provide this information to the owner of the car for the purposes of the traffic insurance. The GoMore renter should also provide their own contact information to the third party. If necessary, the GoMore renter will be contacted regarding the traffic insurance.

Car´s oils and fluids

If the car runs out of oil or, for example, windshield washer fluid during the rental, the renter can go and buy the product at the nearest store. After this, the renter can deliver the purchase receipt either directly to the car owner, who can refund the amount with for example MobilePay, or to GoMore, who handles payment on behalf of the car owner.
