Rental deposit

When you rent a car through GoMore, GoMore reserves the right to charge a rental deposit to ensure payment of any additional costs, such as fines or fees, associated with the rental. The amount of the rental deposit varies between 70 € and 200 €. If a rental deposit is required, its amount will be shown when reserving the car.

GoMore has defined some cars as premium class cars based on comprehensive risk management and the assessment of insurance companies. For premium class cars, the rental deposit varies between 350 € - 1000 €, depending on the mark and model of the car.

The rental deposit is charged at the same time as the rental reservation is accepted. The rental deposit, minus the extra costs caused by the rental, is automatically returned to the renter. The deposit will be returned four days after the end of the rental and will be visible on the renter's bank account a few business days after this.

If the extra costs exceed the rental deposit, we will withhold the rental deposit and charge the extra payment to the renter's payment card. If the rental is cancelled, the rental deposit will be released immediately. You can check the release date of the rental deposit in the rental summary in the app or on our website.

Please note that your bank may have a separate processing time before the returned rental deposit appears in your account. The amount of the rental deposit may vary depending on the type of car, the duration of the reservation and the reservation information. The amount of the rental deposit is always clearly stated when booking.
