Business owner's deductible and possibilities for charging it

Omocom's insurance does not cover damages incurred during rentals with business owned cars. For a business registered vehicle that has been registered and available for rent on the platform, the owner must provide at least the same level of insurance coverage than what GoMore provides for private car rental. The insurance coverage must include statutory motor third party liability insurance and kasko insurance, including the use of the roadside assistance-service available 24 hours a day without any deductible cost for the Renter. In addition, the Renter’s deductible in the event of damage during rentals may not exceed 1000 €. The business owner can offer the renter the possibility to reduce the deductible to 350 € for an extra fee of 8 €/day. This can be done from "Booking settings".

If a renter reduces the deductible we charge a 30% commission.

Because the business and commercial owners have their own insurance, we only charge them a service fee of 15% of the total rental price. Despite this we always help commercial owners in unclear situations that require clarification in the same way as all our other members.

If an accident occurs during the GoMore rental and it is a car registered for business use (i.e. not covered by the insurance coverage offered by GoMore), the claim instructions will be given by the insurance company that has insured the business car. It is not possible to buy insurance from us separately for cars registered for business use.

There are three different ways to collect the deductible:

1) Directly handling the payment with the renter

The car owner can agree on the payment of the deductible directly with the renter via GoMore's chat. In this case the payment is handled via e.g. MobilePay, bank transfer or invoicing. In this case, the car owner can request payment only after the damage has been repaired and the insurance company has sent the invoice for the excess. In this case the owner must send the renter the invoice for the excess amount.

2) GoMore charges the payment from the renter

The car owner can provide GoMore with either an invoice from the insurance company for the deductible, or a repair estimate/repair invoice from the car repair shop that performed the repair, including the price and a description of the repair work, in which case we will pay the car owner the deductible (or repair cost). In this way, the car owner does not have to use own money to pay the bill, but he can wait for us to transfer the payment to his account before paying the insurance company's bill. We are happy to help car owners with charging the deductible, and in the event of damage, you can send the insurance company invoice/repair shop invoice to support@gomore.fi. This way, as a car owner, you can receive the excess amount (i.e. a maximum of €1,000) to your bank account from GoMore before the due date of the invoice and you can pay the invoice yourself.

3) Billing GoMore

The car owner (company) can bill GoMore for the excess and we collect the excess from the renter. If you want to bill GoMore, please notify our customer support support@gomore.fi along with the repair estimate/invoice from the insurance company. After this, you will receive invoicing instructions and information from our customer support so that you can proceed with the matter.

The car owner can choose the most suitable of these three options.
