Are you filling out a renter application and can't proceed for some reason? Are you having some problems with logging in or adding information to your profile? Don't worry, the answer to your question might be found here!

I can't add my phone number to my account

When adding your phone number, please note that you can drop the first zero from your phone number when entering the country code.

If the system indicates that the phone number is already in use, it means that the same phone number has been added to another profile. Check if you have previously created a GoMore profile using a different email address and added your phone number to that profile. Have you created a profile using a different email address or maybe through Apple ID? If you have received an email from GoMore to any of your email addresses, it means a profile has been created for that email in our platform.

If you have forgotten the password for a previously created profile, you can click on "Forgot password" when logging in, to receive instructions on how to reset the password to your email address.

I can't create an account with my email

If the system indicates that the email address is already in use when creating a profile on our platform, it means that a profile has already been created for that email address. If you have forgotten the password for a previously created profile, you can log into the profile by clicking on "Forgot your password" and entering the email address in the designated field. The system will send instructions to reset the password to your email address.

The GoMore app is not working

If you are unable to log into the app or the app is not functioning properly, please make sure you have the latest version of the app. You can update the app on Android phones through the Play Store and on iPhone through the App Store. If there is no update available for the app, you can try uninstalling the app completely and then reinstalling it on your phone.

If the app still does not work after that or if you receive any error codes or error messages, please contact our customer service. When contacting customer service, you can expedite the problem-solving process by sending us a screenshot of the error message and providing additional information, such as the app version you are using or the model of your phone. You can send the additional details and screenshots to support@gomore.fi.

Registering with Facebook, Google, Apple, or email?

You can create a profile on our platform using traditional email as well as through Facebook, Google, and Apple ID. When you create a profile with Apple ID, Facebook, or Google, you can only use that login option for future logins. If, for example, you created your profile using Apple ID, you can continue to log into your account using the Apple ID login option in the future.

I have an old-style driver's license or a license without a license number/issue date

No worries, you can still join with an older driver's license. The most important thing is that your driver's license is valid and you have had it for at least one year. If your driver's license does not have a license number or issue date, you can replace these fields with other information. For example, you can enter your date of birth, phone number, or any random unique string of characters in the license number field. You cannot leave the field blank, so you need to enter something in that field.

If your license is missing the issue date, you can provide an estimate of the issue date. You can enter an approximate date from the year you obtained your driver's license.

I can't take pictures for the renter application

The personal photo and driver's license photos required for the application must be taken at that moment and cannot be pre-existing photos. Only the public profile picture can be uploaded from your phone's gallery, for example. However, if you tried to take a photo with the camera and it didn't work for some reason, you can try the following tips:

If you are filling out the renter application on your phone, we recommend downloading the GoMore app. Taking photos for the application using the phone's browser can be challenging.

Have you granted GoMore permission to use your camera? The camera screen may appear black if you haven't given permission to the app or browser to use your device's camera. Here's how to check the permission:

In the GoMore app:

Make sure you have granted permission for the app to use your camera in your phone's settings.

  • iPhone: Open your phone's settings, type "Camera" in the search bar at the top, select "Camera Privacy and Security." Check that the GoMore app has the green button pressed on the right side.
  • Android: Open your phone's settings, go to "Apps" or "Application Manager," and select GoMore from the list. Make sure you have granted permission for the app to use the camera here.

In the web browser:

When you take a photo in the browser, a small pop-up window will appear asking for permission to use the camera. You can grant permission from there.

These tips should likely help. We recommend filling out the renter application using the GoMore app on your phone or using a web browser on your computer. Where can I fill out the renter application?

Using a web browser:

  1. You can fill out the renter application as soon as you have registered for our service by clicking the "Register now" button in the top right corner. Once the registration is successful, you will find the "Apply to be a renter" button in the profile menu in the top right corner.
  2. You can fill out the renter application when you have found a car you want to make a rental reservation for! So, you can make a rental reservation and fill out the renter application at the same time. Your rental reservation will be sent to the car owners for approval once your renter application is approved.

Using the GoMore app:

  1. After logging into the app, you can freely browse and search for the perfect rental car for your needs. When you find a rental car, you can send a rental reservation for the car and fill out the renter application at the same time.

Issues with adding a payment card

Please first verify that the payment card number and other details are correct. Do not copy the card number from anywhere; instead, type the payment card number one-by-one. We also recommend trying to add the payment card through a computer browser if you are encountering issues with the application.

Issues with rental payment

If the payment is not going through, please check first that your card has sufficient funds and that you haven't exceeded your daily usage limit. Also, ensure that online payments are possible with your payment card. Additionally, if you have restricted payments only to Finland, please change the regional limitation on your payment card to the Nordic countries. In order to make the rental payment, you need to allow payments from the Nordic countries on your payment card.

If the payment still doesn't go through, please try another payment card. If you have tried all of these methods and the issue persists, please contact your own bank.

Problems with adding an IBAN bank account number

If you are unable to add your account number to your profile, please try the following instructions:

  1. Please double-check that the IBAN code you entered is correct.
  2. Also, try entering the IBAN code manually, digit by digit, without copying it from elsewhere.
  3. Enter the IBAN without spaces.
  4. If you tried adding the account number through the GoMore application, we recommend trying to add it using our browser version on a computer.

If you are still unable to add the account number despite these steps, please contact our customer service and consider checking with your own bank to identify the potential issue.

The website thinks I'm a bot.

If, for some reason, the website has identified you as a bot and you can't register into our service, you can try the following alternatives:

  1. Check that you are not using a VPN in the device you are using to log into GoMore.
  2. You can try registering on our website using the browser's Incognito mode.

If neither of these options work and you still can't register on our platform, please contact customer service and let them know the email address you are trying to create a profile with. We will be happy to assist you!
