How to sign the rental contract in the GoMore application
Before the start of the rental, the car owner must always make a rental agreement with the renter. This can be conveniently done through our GoMore application:
- Open the application and go to the upcoming rental section, then click on "start rental agreement". The rental agreement will be updated in the application 30 minutes before the rental begins.
- Confirm the renter's details and take a photo of their driver's license. The photo will not be saved on your phone and will only be visible to GoMore.
Take pictures of the car to document its current condition (the application will guide you to take 8 pictures from different angles).
- In the "report damage" section, record any existing damages on the car. Therefore, check the condition of the car, note and photograph any damages in the rental agreement. This is crucial to avoid any ambiguities during the return process.
- The car owner should indicate the current fuel level in the rental agreement. The same applies when the car is returned and the rental agreement is terminated. The renter must return the car to the owner with the same fuel level as it had at the beginning of the rental.
Confirm the car's mileage by taking a photo of the dashboard.
- Double-check the information stated in the agreement (car owner + renter).
After that, it's the car owner's turn to confirm the rental by signing the agreement on their mobile device. By doing so, they confirm that they have read and accepted GoMore's terms of use, and that the information in the agreement is correct (see the image below).
- Finally, the car owner hands over the phone to the renter, and it's their turn to review and sign the agreement. By doing so, they confirm that they have read and accepted GoMore's terms of use, and that the information in the agreement is correct. Note: An additional driver cannot pick up the car or sign the rental agreement.
- When the designated start time of the reservation arrives, and the rental agreement has been signed by both the owner and the renter, the rental can begin! 🚙💨 Both parties will receive a copy of the rental agreement via email.
